Betsy Sharon serves as Compliance Officer and Counsel at Chain Bridge Bank, N.A., leading the Bank’s compliance function. She also supervises the Bank Secrecy Act and Community Reinvestment Act activities. Before her current role, Ms. Sharon served as counsel for a regional bank, mortgage lender, and insurer. Her career began at the Federal Home Loan Bank of Atlanta and the U.S Department of the Treasury's Office of Thrift Supervision. Ms. Sharon earned her law degree from Emory University and Bachelor of Science from Connecticut College. She is a member and former chair of the Legal Affairs Committee of the Virginia Bankers Association.
